Checkpoint MSH-C1 Car Stud and Hub Cleaning Tool
The Checkpoint Car Stud and Hub Cleaning Tool is the toughest 2-in-1 cleaning device on the market for cars, SUVs and light trucks. Built with heavy-duty stainless-steel brushes and a long-lasting abrasive pad, it quickly removes rust, corrosion and dirt from studs, rotors, hubs and the back of the wheel. This helps ensure the secure fitment of wheels and wheel nuts to minimise the risk of wheel detachment.
Designed as a one-piece tool with no replacement parts, it’s highly durable—cleaning up to 800 car hubs without damaging the surface. Compatible with a 1/2" impact wrench, the tool is simple to use: rotate clockwise onto the stud and counterclockwise off, with no need for excessive force.
Checkpoint Car Stud and Hub Cleaning Tool – Black & Violet is rated up to 949 Nm, with a maximum RPM of 12,000 and a stud capacity up to M16. The black and violet finish makes it easy to identify in any workshop.

Application Guidelines
Clean all studs and hubs before wheel fitting. Rotate clockwise onto the stud and counterclockwise off the stud - no pushing or pulling is required. Do not use tools that exceed the RPM shown on the label, and only spin under load. Use proper air filtration between the compressed-air source and device to prevent water or oil contamination.
Regular cleaning prevents build-up of rust and debris so wheels tighten properly, reducing the risk of loosening while driving and helping avoid vibrations and accelerated wear.
