Parma's Hot Spot Markers are small indicating labels designed to warn you of a developing wheel end component failure. Once heat affected, the labels will remain orange and must be replaced after the wheel fault has been rectified. The labels turn orange and remain that way once the hub has exceeded 180° Celsius.
Hot wheel check brake & wheel bearing heat indicators. The adhesive temperature label is meant to be located on the external metallic side of the wheel hub bearing housing. All applications require alcohol wipes and or sandpaper for both new and used trailers with no exceptions. This label should be placed on only the outer exposed wheel hub that protrudes through the centre of the rim and is visually accessible and not obscured for easy visual trip inspections. This label is not meant to be placed on cosmetic accessories and covers as they are not in direct contact with the wheel hub.
Manufactured with durable materials and backed with 3M self-adhesive.
