The Bantam Midcut Safety Trainer combines safety with comfort in a lightweight design. It features a breathable, water-repellent mesh upper made from 100% GRS certified recycled polyester. The shoe includes a fibreglass toecap and a para-aramid anti-perforation midsole by Activ-Step® for protection. The slip-resistant Activ-Step® Adherence rubber outsole provides superior grip on various surfaces. The shoe also incorporates a bio-based EVA midsole from sugarcane, enhancing shock absorption and comfort. Additionally, it is Vegan Society approved and made with environmentally responsible materials.

Water Repellent Breathable Upper: Made with 100% recycled post-consumer polyester, contains 100% GRS certified recycled polyester and therefore contributes to a reduced environmental footprint and reduced plastic pollution.

Activ-Step® Recycled Foam Footbed: Bringing together performance and comfort while creating a more breathable environment for the wearer. Made with 81% recycled foam and 100% recycled post-consumer polyester sock liner, reducing waste to landfill. Sustainable material that significantly reduces the amount of postproduction waste material.

Performance Midsole: The midsole contains 61% bio-based EVA midsole and is combined with our Activ-Step® Adherence rubber outsole. 

Anti-Slip Outsole: Featuring our specially formulated high grip Activ-Step® Adherence rubber outsole, tested well beyond European/UK standards. Using the SATRA TM144:2021 test method we have achieved great slip resistance with the following contaminants: Cooking Oil, Fuel Oil, Water, Glycerine and SLS (as used in most cleaning products) and on surfaces such as, Quarry Tiles, Ceramic Tiles, Steel Tiles and Vinyl Tiles.
