Parma Supports Wingman Wheels Campaign

We are extremely proud to announce our support for Project Wingman’s “Wingman Wheels" campaign.

We can all agree that the last year has been a challenge for us all; at Parma, we wanted to show our support for the heroic NHS workers who have inspired millions of us with their commitment and bravery through the Covid pandemic.

‘Wingman Wheels’ is an amazing cause, as a fully converted double decker bus, it serves a mobile lounge to give NHS workers a relaxing space to de-compress in.

Read more about their amazing cause on their website at https://www.projectwingman.co.uk/wingmanwheels and you can watch a inspiring video on HERE. (This video was posted in November 2020, the Project Wingman bus is now fully functional)

To keep the wheels turning, Parma provided the Project Wingman bus with 1 set of PAR-677 front and 1 set of PAR-679 rear deluxe wheel trims alongside a full set of Zafety Luglocks.

Our MD, Phil Pittock stated “Here at Parma we are enormously honoured to be partnering with this worthwhile cause. We provided Project Wingman’s lounges with the best-in-class wheel safety and wheel trim products, to keep the service running and reaching the hundreds of amazing frontline teams up and down the UK.”

Wingman Coach

Project Wingman is an independent, NHS support initiative, launched by members of the airline community in April 2020, providing well-being facilities and support to frontline staff across all four nations of the United Kingdom.

Fully manned by an army of local aircrew volunteers these spaces have been extremely popular and well received across over 80 NHS hospitals across the UK in the last 9 months, as far as Elgin in Scotland to Hove on the South Coast.

We are delighted to add our support to the Wingman project and help provide NHS workers with some much-needed downtime.
