East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices - EACH

Supporting East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH)

Parma Group’s commitment to charitable giving focuses on organisations in our local area, including East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), which operates across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire.

This vital charity provides care for babies, children, and young people with life-limiting conditions. Their services include compassionate end-of-life care, ongoing physical, social, and emotional support, and counselling for families. Experienced nursing staff offer expert care both at the hospice and in families’ homes, tailored to each child’s needs.

Earlier this month, some Parma team members were invited to a cheque presentation at the Ipswich hospice. Although a tour of the facilities was not possible due to a young patient in critical care, it was deeply humbling and heart-warming to witness the dedication and love extended to the children and families in need.

Anna and Erin from EACH explained that the charity currently supports around 500 children and their families. Approximately 85% of the funding—around £17.8 million annually—must be raised through voluntary donations, including contributions from businesses, charitable shops, and other fundraising initiatives. Each day, the combined care costs across the three hospices require £30,000, with a team of dedicated volunteers helping to make this possible.

More information about EACH can be found on their website: www.each.org.uk. Their work is a tremendous resource for families, providing essential care and comfort where it’s needed most. As the charity says: “We extend a lifeline to families, providing essential care and comfort where it's needed most.”
